SPECIAL EDITIONS LESEDIEDELTORCHIO means a continuous search for new ways to interpret the barriques and a passion for quality workmanship, with the objective of designing unique models that highlight the characteristic of the raw material. Along with prestigious clients LESEDIEDELTORCHIO has created special editions to tell stories of success through the prism of environmentally sustainable beauty. SCRIGNO Scrigno is an elegant box with smooth and sober lines. It is the result of the collaboration between LESEDIEDELTORCHIO and Banca del Vino.
Franco Cosimo Panini Editore chose Scrigno for the "Bibliotheca Gastronomica - The source of taste" project. This is the reproduction of an illuminated manuscript, the Historia plantarum, considered the synthesis of the botanical, medical and food knowledge of the early Middle Ages. Panini proposes the pages dedicated to wine and oil in a collection folder that reproduces all aspects of colours and materials of the original parchment. A special version combines the enchantment of the miniatures to the pleasure of the finest wine, as it is offered with the best bottles of Barolo and Barbaresco in the two last decades, kept in the Scrigno boxes by LESEDIEDELTORCHIO (below is a picture). Cantina Coppo from Canelli (AT) chose Scrigno to accompany their wines and help the Terra madre food communities. An interesting and comprehensive report of the project, edited by Cantina Coppo, is available here. The image below shows the prestigious wines by Cantina Coppo next to the box in which they are contained.
RITMA AMG MERCEDES At a recent presentation of the Mercedes-Benz AMG brand, LESEDIEDELTORCHIO proposed a modified version of a Ritma chair (here is the news of the event). The images show the Mercedes-Benz star harmoniously designed along the back and seat of the armchair.
LEPRE FOR CELLO PLAYERS LESEDIEDELTORCHIO has created a version of the Lepre chair designed for the needs of a cello player: compared to a classical Lepre, the seat and backrest are tilted slightly forward, while one of the elements of the back has a cut whose profile resembles the shape of a violin.
CLOTHES BRACKET Keo has designed for the B for FAI event a clothes bracket made by recovering the barrique woods. The work does not reproduce a man like a classical dummy; instead it is the representation of a pose to be transferred to a garment. Whether there is a clothing, the object disappears from view, only some little piece of wood or metal remaining; there is not a body, but only the expression of tailoring work.
