The collaboration between Keo and Association of Economic Consultants Pro-Akademia continues. AEC Pro-Akademia is a non-governmental organisation which provides for assistance in the processes of entrepreneurship development in Poland. On 8 and 9 may 2012 some Ph.D. students of the University of Lodz have come to Piemonte to investigate the technologies related to their research. Keo has organized the study tour to show some of the most innovative projects in the area, such as: the hydroelectric plant at Environment Park, the flexible solar panels by Enecom and, of course, a KeoHabitat® building. Keo and AEC Pro-Akademia have already collaborated for a previous activity in 2011.

The multipurpose centre of Lanzo Torinese (TO) is opening on sunday 22 april 2012. Keo has taken care of the architectural and structural design and the construction supervision (see here for some other work by Keo). The building features a large, harmonious wooden structure and will host cultural events and musical and theatrical performances.

Keo has participated in the “Lebanon meets Piemonte” B2B (business to business) meeting, organized by the Chamber of commerce of Torino and the Piemonte agency for investments, export and tourism on 19-20 april 2012. The MrPET project has aroused great interest among the Lebanese companies, especially regarding the potential application of the PET recovery system in their own country.
